Healthcare is one of the few industries where the website is often the first clinical impression. Here is what we find breaking most often.
1. Booking is buried
If booking takes more than one tap from any page, you are losing patients who were ready.
2. No real photos
Stock photography of models in lab coats reads as a practice with something to hide. Photograph the actual team and the actual waiting room.
3. Insurance information is missing
"Do you take my insurance?" is the most common pre-visit question. Answer it on its own page.
4. Slow on mobile
Most patients arrive on a phone, often on cellular. A three-second delay is a measurable drop in bookings.
5. No local signals
Separate pages per location, consistent name/address/phone, and a maintained Google Business Profile.
6. Unreadable credentials
Board certifications and affiliations build trust — but only if a patient can find them.
7. No accessibility work
Beyond the legal exposure, accessible markup is what lets search engines and AI assistants read you properly in the first place.
